WARNING: Paid for Next-Day Delivery, Fell into a Customer Service Black Hole 🕳️
I’m writing this as a warning about my terrible online shopping experience. I needed a simple pair of glasses and their site promised "eligible for next day delivery." I paid the extra $19.95, only to get an email saying it would take 3 business days to process. It became clear that this place is nothing more than an automated business that cares nothing about its customers. They are a fraud, ripping customers off for services that they charge for and do NOT provide. After being trapped in a loop of automated chats and phone menus, I finally manipulated their system to reach a person, determined to get back the money for a service I never received.
Customer: I paid $19.95 for next-day delivery on order #113825, and now I'm being told it will take days to even ship. I want my shipping fee refunded immediately.
CS Rep: I understand your concern. Let me pull up your order information. I see it was placed on February 18th. I do apologize for the delay and any confusion regarding the shipping timeline.
Customer: Don’t apologize for the confusion, apologize for the false advertising. Your website said "next day," not "whenever we get to it." I tried your chat bot and email with no response. I want my $19.95 back now.
CS Rep: I certainly understand your frustration. I am unable to process a refund directly from my end. What I can do is submit your request to the billing department, and it will be up to them to approve it.
Customer: Up to them? You charged me for a service you didn't provide. This isn't a request, it's a demand for my money back. This is an absolutely horrible way to do business.
